New PET Lids Started

Following the introduction of the first PET lid for the jars, 63-mm RTS 4-start closure, Trypet has developed two new lids in PET for the popular 38SP400 and 45SP400 neck-finishes.

We believe that these products will help our customers to meet steadily tightening legal requirements related to the share of recyclable materials in packaging.

Two dedicated multi-cavity moulds were successfully commissioned this summer.

The company applied a new technical approach to the design of the lids. The articles do not have injection points on them. By the mould design, the injection is done through the special gates, which are cut-off after the lids are produced. Trypet installed and started a special automatic cutting device for this purpose.

As a result, there are no blind spots, haze or sharp needle-like spruces. The surface of the lids is totally glossy and smooth.

Engravings are on the lids sides that leaves the top surface undisturbed and glas s-transparent. The lids can be used with liners, and if liners have a print on them, a printed pattern can be clearly seen through the lids.  

We use a standard bottle-grade PET to manufacture the lids; PCR in any percentage is an easy option. The lids can be colored in opaque or transparent colors.

We offer 1-piece and 2-piece induction heat sealing liners with the lids, including lift-and-peel type, as well as PS-liners.

Trypet offers PET lids separately, but we can also deliver 45-mm caps together with our own 45SP400 pet packers (the range covers 150-500 ml jars with 18g, 20g, 23g and 27g weight options). 38SP400 jars are under consideration.
